Licensed to Practice in Nigeria and Ontario, Canada

Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Law at the University of Ottawa, my research explores the complexities and use of Bilateral Labour Agreements (BLAs) – as a tool for international relations and labour mobility under the current labour migration governance framework.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree with honours in Linguistics and an LL. B from the University of Benin, Nigeria, and an LLM in International Legal Studies from the American University Washington College of Law, securing numerous awards and scholarships along the way.

My career spans a broad spectrum as a litigator and a solicitor. I have appeared before superior courts of record, including the Federal Court, Court of Appeal, and Supreme Courts of Nigeria. I have also worked on complex international and UN Administrative law issues at the General Legal Division of the Office of Legal Affairs at the United Nations Headquarters, New York.

Driven by a passion for creating impact beyond the traditional legal realm, I founded the “International Law Project.” Through this project, I aim to bring international law concepts to the fore in a fun and engaging way.
